Just what is going on with Liverpool and Manchester United?

Liverpool were in the high court in London last week as they bid to get the club sold to J.W Henry the owner of the Boston Red Soxs. The two numpties who formally owned Liverpool Football Club, Gillett and Hicks took legal action in a court in Texas over the high court ruling. If the court in Texas would have overturned the London ruling, the RBS would have called in the debt and the club would have gone into administration and the Premier League would have docked Liverpool 9 points and give their league position,3rd, from bottom in the relegation zone they have a chance of getting relegated into the Championship. It’s also time Roy Hodgson to go and King Kenny to take over.

Manchester United rarely seem to be out of the papers over the last week. This is all about the Wayne Rooney. He hasn’t scored a goal since 3rd March and didn’t score at all in the World Cup for England he instead looked straight into the camera and screamed it’s great for us to be booed by our home fans. Referring to the booing England recieved after a game they really should have won but they drew 0-0.

Today Sir Alex Ferguson told a packed press conference that Rooney said he isn’t going to sign a new contract leaving him a free agent after May 2012.

It’s likely that he will leave Old Trafford in the january transfer window. It’s has been touted he may cross the city to join Manchester City.

LATEST NEWS: ROONEY SIGNS 5 YEAR DEAL.

Petulant spoilt brat Wayne Rooney who last week held Manchester United to ransom, has penned a 5 year contract with the club.

I saw a pic of a City fan who prematurely had the no.9 Rooney on his Sky Blue City shirt. Maybe I should be petulant so I can get my own way, and my Mrs might let me buy an Apple Ipad.

Another team in trouble is Middlesbrough FC they played Leeds United and got beat 2-1.

The manager Gordon Strachan has been at the Teesside club for a year was sacked yesterday he ripped up his own contract and told the owner Steve Gibson he would not seek any compensation. Tony Mowbray an ex Boro player looks favourite to take over.

I am over in Middlesbrough at the moment staying with one of the Mrs’s Outlaws, her Auntie gets the Evening Gazette and I didn’t sus that if Greame Souness  gets appointed as Boro Manager that will be 3 managers with the initials GS, scary eh?

Strachan was sacked from Celtic, he took over after Gareth who was sacked when the club got relegated in 2008-2009 season.
